Hello and Happy New Year my wonderful Absoluters, I hope everyone is doing well and is well rested from a lovely winter break. I hope you all had lovely times with family and friends. Firstly, I wanted to share an incredibly exciting announcement. My daughter Margot, her partner Liam and I went on holiday together just before Christmas and the most amazing trip turned into an unforgettable one…. I am so pleased to announce that Margot and Liam got engaged! 💍 I am so incredibly happy for them both, they deserve the absolute world and I couldn’t be prouder. You may know that Margot is also pregnant and we’re not far off meeting our wonderful baby girl now, which makes this even more special. Margot will tell you herself that this is all she’s ever wanted which makes me feel incredibly fulfilled as a mother, there’s no feeling like it! I am so excited to see them start their little family together and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. I love you both so much! 💛
Absolute Sparkles Christmas Party
We hosted our annual Absolute Sparkles Christmas Party for the wonderful team at AC. It was a night filled with laughter, incredible food and lots of fun. It’s always so lovely to bring the entire team together, not just the team that works in the office but the team who works behind the scenes packing your orders at the warehouse too! Everyone connects so well with each other and it makes me feel very grateful for the environment we have all created at Absolute Collagen. After dinner we were surprised with a magician who absolutely blew our socks off with his skills! It was such a joy to watch! Of course we held our annual AC awards to shine a light on some of the team and the wonderful work they do. From The Team Player Award, to the Absolute Possibility Award, there was something for everyone and of course we had to have a best-dressed award! Thank you to everyone who made it a night to remember.
Visiting the Prime Minister’s Summer House
Darcy and I had the unforgettable experience of spending one afternoon at the Prime Minister’s country residence, Chequers. Who would have thought that we would be invited here for lunch?! This was definitely a pinch me moment for both Darcy and I, we are so grateful for the opportunity. The history of this building was simply breathtaking. We stood in the room where Churchill recorded his iconic “We shall fight on the beaches” speech and being surrounded by that level of history gave us goosebumps. What an incredible experience!
Looking Back on 2024
As we say goodbye to another year and step into 2025, it’s important to reflect on the journey we’ve just embarked upon. For us at Absolute Collagen, the past year has been a total whirlwind but I am grateful for every moment, every opportunity and I’m grateful for every one of you who has supported us throughout this year. 2024 was incredible, we conducted the largest and most robust clinical study ever done on a collagen supplement, we grew our team to an amazing 80 filled with incredibly talented individuals, we walked the largest pair of boobs in our Map My Baps walk partnering with CoppaFeel!, we sold out of our viral Neck & Dec cream, we commissioned our Force From Forty Report helping shine a light on women and we launched our very first Absoluter rewards scheme. None of this would have been possible without our incredible team at Absolute Collagen, they really are a talented bunch and they are truly committed to not only the business, not only one another but they are committed to you, the Absoluter. Thank you all for a year to remember and I cannot wait for you to see what we’ve got planned for 2025, hold tight, because you’re in for a ride ✨
